i have had epilepsy for 12 years now. my question is can marijuana reduce epilepsy or help prevent a seizures

I have not heard of any proof that it does so. Common sense would tell me that if you have a neurological problem it would be a bad idea to use anything that can affect your mental status. Epileptics are advised to not even drink alcohol for this reason. Especially if you are medication.

In general it is a bad idea to mess with mixing different chemical and/or medications.
