Any tips on how to handle some one with epilepsy

My little brother has it, although he takes medication, so he never gets ''episodes'' any more. It is very scary, I was the first one who saw it happen to him for the first time. A lot of people tell u not to touch a person if they r have a seizure, but a lot of the times they will vomit a little in their mouths & they could choke on their own saliva/vomit. When it happened to my brother my dad turned him on his side (because he was on his back) because he looked like he had a mouth full of saliva & his eyes were rolling back in his head, it was horrible to see, he stopped having it immediately, of course it seems like forever but it really was not that long. I dont know exactly what to tell u to do because even though I have seen my brother have a couple, I still would panic at the site & I guess ur first instinct is to touch them & turn them so they do not choke. Is ur dad on any medication? They have very good pills out there that can help him either not have them at all or not as frequently! I wish u the best, it is a scary situation!

Call & ambulance if:
You know it is the person’s first seizure
The seizure continues for more than five minutes
One tonic-clonic seizure follows another without the person regaining consciousness between seizures
The person is injured during the seizure
